LifeFood’s Organic Raw Cacao Powder is derived from Heirloom Ecuador Arriba Nacional Cacao Beans grown in the rain forest of Ecuador, collected by locals on donkey back.

The quality and purity of this Raw product is guaranteed, and there is no blending of beans with any low quality hybrids that at pervasive today. The cacao trees in this area are up to 80 years old and grow in volcanic regions with extremely high nutrient soil. This means you get the best cacao possible!

The cacao beans are sun dried and cold-pressed, which means the temperature is never allowed to exceed 47 degrees Celsius, allowing it to retain it’s raw form, rich flavour, and high levels of antioxidants.
